IRL was founded in Columbus, Ohio, in 1978. and moved to the Research Triangle Park
area of North Carolina in 1989. Dave Grissom , owner
and chief engineer, leads IRL's unique network of affiliated and experienced consulting
engineers, technical writers, and technicians.
IRL team members have worked together on electronics and biomedical projects throughout
the United States. They are professionals with an ingrained professional work ethic.
